The winner of Mrs India Galaxy 2022-23, Dr Syeda Afshan Nayeem originally hails from Mysuru & is settled in Bengaluru for the last few years. She is a doctor by profession and a social entrepreneur by passion. An enthusiastic advocate of therapeutic Naturopathy & Yoga, a staunch believer in spirituality and self-healing, Dr Syeda emphasizes on physical & emotional wellness for optimal productivity.
She contested the Mrs. Universe 2023 pageant held at Manila,Philippines from October 1 to October 9 2023 and was crowned as Mrs.EAST PACIFIC ASIA 2023.
While being married to a transplant surgeon and a mother to a 5 year old, the pageantry bug bit her at 32 years of age. She contested in the coveted Mrs. India Galaxy 2022-23 held in New Delhi in August 2022 and championed the event, thus bagging the title of Mrs India Galaxy 2022-23.
On a social frontier, Dr Syeda is a strong proponent of awareness on domestic violence against women. Violence, she says, could occur in more than one form, extending its spectrum from physical violence to mental, verbal and emotional harassment as well.
‘It has been my prerogative’, she elaborates, ‘to passionately fight this issue through knowledge, awareness, love, empathy and motivation.
To serve a humanitarian purpose, to help women in distress, such as this one, which would make this world a better place to live in”.
“Mrs. Universe” is a global platform that hosts an international stage for married women models representing their respective nations. This event is exclusively for married women, as the name suggests. It gives these ladies the opportunity to represent their powerful thoughts and messages in a guided yet superlative manner.
Mrs.INDIA Galaxy pageant has been working on the important social cause to Stop Violence against Women for past many years. Married women from different parts of India get a platform to showcase their talents and improve their skill.
