Samadhan Abhiyan celebrated ‘Annual Day program under ‘Sewa Pakhwada’ -Stress on ‘Child Safety ‘.

New Delhi – On the occasion of ‘Seva Pakhwada’, ‘Samadhan Abhiyan’ NGO which works to aware society about prevention of child sexual abuse , POCSO ACT and provides 360-degree rehabilitation to POCSO survivors through their ‘Child-friendly centres’ (a CSR project, supported by India Pesticides Limited, ‘Chuppi Tod; Halla Bol Project ) situated inside police stations all over Uttar Pradesh. NGO organised its annual day program , which is held in the memory of Late Shri Uday Agnihotri.

Under “Chuppi Tod ; Halla bol Project” the organisation had reached out to more than 800,000 people across India , and provided rehabilitation and counseling for over 350 child survivors of sexual abuse.

For their efforts, Samadhan Abhiyan had received several honours, including the CSR Impact Award, the Police Social Welfare Award in Hardoi, Army and SSB Award and many other accolades over the past few years.

A key achievement highlighted at the event was the inclusion of the book on POCSO, “Satark Rahein- Surakshit Rahein” (Be Alert, Stay Safe), in this year’s SCERT syllabus by the Uttar Pradesh Government. Mrs. Archana Agnihotri founder of Ngo was selected by the Uttar Pradesh Education Department to conduct training of trainers for the child sexual abuse awareness and POCSO ACT. These trained teachers will conduct training of teachers in over 46,000 schools across Uttar Pradesh.

The Chief Guest, Mr. Ravindra Indraj Singh, Minister of Social Welfare, Delhi Government, commended the organisation’s monumental efforts. The honoured guests included Mrs. Bansuri Swaraj, Member of Parliament, Delhi, Mrs. Shikha Rai, MLA, Greater Kailash, New Delhi, Mr. Dinesh Pratap Singh, Member, NDMC, and Mr. Yogendra Pratap Singh. The Chief Guest, along with the distinguished guests, were instrumental in

1. Launching a book on POCSO.
2. Awarding the coordinators.
3. Awarding the seven achievers.

On this occasion, seven dedicated individuals were specially felicitated for their outstanding contributions in the fields of education, health, child rights, environment, and social service, setting an inspiring example for society. CSR and ESG head Mr Rama Krishna Subramoniam , directors Dr S.C Pandey,Mrs Sheelam Bajpai and Mr Atrey Pandey send their blessings, NGO team present were: Ms Saumya Dwivedi, Ms Deepa Sharma and all the coordinators. The event was inspiring and brought together people from different walks of life, instilling in them a purpose for tomorrow: ‘Sashakt Bachpan, Sashakt Desh’.
