Gurugram : Earth & Heritage are priceless treasures of culture from which we belong. To cherish these proud possessions, The Esplanade Mall organised a two-day event named Roots & Revival on 22nd and 23rd of April 2024 in association with its NGO Partner ‘Hope, Hustle, Happiness Foundation’, school partner ‘Euro International School’ and Training Partner ‘Lok Dharohar. The event had a great kick-start with an informative yet fun workshop on ‘Best Out of Waste’ followed by a painting competition on the interesting theme ‘Planet v/s Plastic’.
The second day was filled with activities full of the glorious vibes of the country’s heritage. Traditional Warli Art was explained in a workshop on ‘Warli Painting’. The participants were amazed to know the history and facts of this traditional art form. The utmost happiness of creating their own Warli Art piece to take away and display was being reflected on their faces. An extempore competition on the topic of ‘Heritage & Its Significance’ was also organised for students.
The Esplanade Mall awarded all the winners as well as provided certification to all the participants. The Director of The Esplanade Mall, Mr. Piyush Dhoot concluded the session saying, “We should always have faith in our roots and pass on our heritage to the next generation. Esplanade Mall is looking forward to organising such events to make our youth aware of the blessings of Mother Earth and cultivate values and respect towards Mother India.”
